Pastor Merrill has been in ministry for 40 years serving churches in Illinois, Texas, Iowa, and now Washington. He served 21 years as a military chaplain in the Air National Guard retiring as Wing Chaplain in the 185th Air Refueling Wing at Sioux City, Iowa in 2013.
Merrill and his wife Deborah have been married nearly 50 years (next anniversary). They have three children and six grandchildren spread from Hawaii to New Mexico to Florida.
